From the need to attach the Quest 3 to a gimbal came up, I designed a snap on part that connected from the nose area to the top of the headset at the edge of the plastic housing. Choosing to embedding an Arca-Swiss plate to the base gave it a way to attach to traditional camera gear and a flexibility for orientation.

The next design iteration came from the desire to have a handle at the base so the headset could be more easily share in a social setting and avoid the task of wearing the headset.
